Hunting is a major part of Wyoming and Shell Campground is located near world-class opportunities. Located on US Highway 14, a common boundary for many of the areas, Shell is a convenient location for hunting activities. To learn more about the hunting boundaries in the area (and the entire state of Wyoming) Wyoming Game and Fish has a great hunt planner available on their website that we find useful.
Our accommodations typically fill well in advance of hunting season and we encourage you to make a reservation early. We require a 25% deposit at the time of booking. HOWEVR, as a special policy for hunters, we will refund your deposit (less any credit card processing fees) if you are unsuccessful in the draw. We will require proof that you were unsuccessful in the draw to process the refund. This policy is exclusive to hunters only. Our normal policy requires a 25% deposit at the time of booking but does not allow for refunds.
